The American economy has been operating at less than its potential since perhaps Dec. 2007, approaching three years. There are indirect indications that the impact to the American workforce is significant. I very much wonder if structural work force issues have already come into play, namely in the area of training and fitness for work.
It is time for the US to start growing substantially above 3% annual rate!
