I think that once the Internet of Things movement becomes organized and gains a voice, it might become the next development stage of the Internet. Many new businesses will be created.
This issue at hand is to define the discipline. Even more important, business must be able to clearly see the value of ioT.
As a force in agriculture I am convinced that Internet Computing, a component of ioT, will emerge as a tool of great value to farmers.
Sometimes folks forget that the population of the world will expand a great deal during the next thirty years, and so will requirements for food.
In addition, there are many people who currently go hungry each day. Through technology and business development, it is my hope that this situation will turn-around.
