The local "classic rock" radio station had a novel idea for an on-air program this Columbus Day weekend. WZLX played the Beatles, A - Z. How many more times will the public hear the same songs over and over?
I no longer listen to WZLX on a regular basis. The program directors ignore a great deal of very good, though lesser known, older rock along with current progressive rock.
Many classic rock songs were good at the time, however, with the advance of time listeners like to hear new things. I think the idea of a nostalgia radio station has run its course!
I hope WZLX adds some variety and changes format! Bring back free format radio. It is much more interesting.
