Perhaps a New Term for Computing?

With all of the attention that Cloud Computing as received during the past year, I remain a bit skeptical regarding what it actually means.

In many ways, I think our work since 2003 at the MIT Data Center Program is essentially cloud computing in that its most basic aspect is that there are few if any boundaries except perhaps those of the Internet.

Perhaps the work we are currently doing with Aggeos, Inc. should be called Semantic Cloud Computing. This is a better description I think.
