According to a news report on NPR, there is little congressional progress in passing a Federal budget for the 2010 - 2011 fiscal year. If history is any guide, there will be a huge battle over budget approval that will hold things up for months. This type of political fighting does not serve a useful purpose, especially at a time when the US faces many challenges in getting the economy moving forward.
