The Big Money - Margo Dowling

The deeper I get into The Big Money by John Dos Passos, the better the character development becomes.

I am now reading about Margo Dowling, a fictional person who parallels the life of the dancer Isadora Duncan. I think she eventually becomes involved with Charley Anderson.

Dos Passos does an excellent job of probing into the cultural forces shaping society around the time of the 1920's. The Big Money is a powerful book whose time mirrors our own.
