The visit to Japan has gone well.
I have spent a significant amount of time with MIT alumni, former post-doc's and visiting scholars /professionals, traveled to speak with several companies in the Tokyo area, and I have participated in the Internet of Things conference (ioT2010) as an organizer.
I will extend my trip by one day to have an important meeting with a company in the Tokyo area on Fri.
I see many links between Asia and MIT Auto-ID Lab/Field Intelligence Lab.
