Trip to Atlanta

I have returned from Atlanta.

I spent several days there related to Aggeos, Inc. activities and meetings, the 2011 Beltwide Cotton Conference, USDA ARS (Genetics and Precision Agricultural Research Group), the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, and an interesting meeting with ERDAS Inc.

I gave a presentation titled, "Internet Architecture for Bio-Productivity."

The overall goal is to get the M Language applied in agriculture as a communication system and as a means of linking field data and mathematical models together.

Most of our discussions focused on this topic.

The M Language was developed at MIT by The Data Center Program.

Soon we will have a major article on M appearing in Computers & Electronics in Agriculture, published by Reed Elsevier.
