It appears that my next trip to Asia will be on Auto-ID Labs business during Jun. 2011. More details to follow.
Overall, I think there are interesting prospects for RFID applications in Asia and there is no question that great interest exists. However, I sense a reluctance by some Asian countries and firms to adopt global standards electing instead to go their own way. Participation in standards groups could be better.
