Thinking ahead to ioT2012, I think it might be interesting to organize the conference into three basic areas:
Infrastructure
Interfaces
Industrial Applications
I think it is also important to announce the program call for papers well in advance so that researchers and those in industry can direct their research efforts toward the concept of ioT.
Perhaps more importantly, ioT must be thoroughly defined. This remains an ongoing process.
